Bosch laundry is less common than Bosch dishwashers, and much of it is the compact 24-inch kind that stacks in a closet. Our technicians, with more than 30 years of combined experience and over 10,000 appliance repairs behind the company, work on Bosch washers and dryers alongside the Bosch dishwashers and refrigerators we repair regularly.
1. Bosch washers
In August 2026 a Bosch washer wasn’t draining, and a new drain pump fixed it. In January 2024 a Bosch washer was showing E:12 on its display, and in October 2025 a stacked Bosch washer showed F43. Bosch codes point to an area to test; they don’t tell you which part to buy.
Some Bosch washer parts are no longer made. In May 2025 the washer in a stacked Bosch pair needed a new drum, and the part had been discontinued.

2. Bosch dryers not heating
Most of our Bosch dryer calls are for no heat. In September 2025 a Bosch dryer with no heat was fixed by repairing a switch. In September 2026 a Bosch dryer that wasn’t heating was packed with lint in the filter housing and around the door seal. On compact dryers, lint that gets past the filter blocks airflow and trips the heat safeties.
3. Compact and stacked Bosch units
Stacked Bosch pairs sit in tight closets, and most repairs mean unstacking or pulling them out. In May 2025 a customer reported a stacked Bosch dryer not drying, but it worked normally when we arrived; it was the washer that needed a new drum. In January 2024 we worked on a Bosch dryer that wasn’t heating and the matching washer that was showing a code.

Before you call: three quick checks
- Clean the washer’s drain pump filter behind the small door at the bottom front.
- Clean the dryer lint filter after every load, and check behind it for lint that has slipped past.
- Check the breaker for the dryer and the outlet for the washer before calling.
Repair or replace?
Drain pumps, switches, door locks and lint cleanouts are reasonable repairs on Bosch laundry. Drums, bearings and boards cost more, and some are no longer made, so we check availability and give you an honest repair-versus-replace number. Either way, you get a written quote before any work starts, and the $99 service call is waived if you go ahead with the repair.
