1. Not draining
In September 2024 a Frigidaire stopped mid-run with water coming from the bottom, and cleaning out the drain hose fixed it. In September 2026 a Frigidaire stopped draining and needed a new drain pump. In October 2025 another Frigidaire stopped mid-cycle with a lot of water left in the drum, and in July 2026 we were called to one that wasn’t draining properly.
2. Leaking
In November 2025 a leaking Frigidaire needed a new drain pump. In January 2025 a leaking Frigidaire needed a new door seal and door hinge. When water showed up again later, we went back, and this time the cause had nothing to do with the washer: the house water tap behind it was leaking. Checking the supply valves and hoses is always part of a leak call.

3. Noise, shaking and spin
In January 2025 a Frigidaire that stopped working needed new bearings and shocks. In October 2025 we were called to a Frigidaire front loader making a loud noise. Worn bearings roar during spin; worn shocks let the drum bang against the cabinet. In February 2026 a stacked Frigidaire wasn’t spinning.
4. Frigidaire laundry centers
Frigidaire’s stacked washer-dryer units put a top-load washer and a dryer in one frame. In September 2025 the suspension rod of a Frigidaire laundry center had come loose at the back, and we reinstalled the suspension. These units have to be pulled out and partly opened for most repairs, so space in front of the closet helps.
