Monogram is a big part of our everyday work. Our technicians, with more than 30 years of combined experience and over 10,000 appliance repairs behind the company, service Monogram professional ranges and rangetops, wall ovens, built-in side-by-side and panel-ready refrigerators and dishwashers across the Denver metro. The repairs we do most often on Monogram are built-in refrigerators that stop cooling, ice makers and dispensers, oven control boards and temperature sensors, and burner ignition.

Monogram products and series we repair
Monogram sells three design collections: Statement (edge-to-edge handles, brass-accented knobs), Minimalist (flush install, glass, push-to-open oven doors) and Seamless Integration (panel-ready). The styling differs, but the mechanical platforms underneath are shared, so the same diagnosis applies across collections.

Monogram appliances we service around Denver
Monogram is GE’s luxury line, so many electronic and refrigeration parts come from GE’s supply chain while the cabinets, burners and trim are Monogram-specific. Many of the built-in refrigerators we see are 10 to 20 years old and still worth repairing.
Most common Monogram repairs
These are the repairs that come up most often on Monogram equipment, based on the parts most often ordered for these models. The part numbers are typical examples. The right part always depends on your exact model and serial number.
| Symptom | Usual cause | Part / fix |
|---|---|---|
| Built-in side-by-side not making ice | Failed ice maker or water inlet valve | Ice maker assembly (WR30X10093 / WR30X30972), inlet valve (WR57X33326 / WR57X10023) |
| Water or ice dispenser not working, frost at the dispenser | Dispenser solenoid, door or actuator, switch | Dispenser solenoid (WR62X10055), dispenser door and actuator, light or door switch |
| Built-in refrigerator warm, freezer still cold | Evaporator or condenser fan, thermistor, inverter board | Evaporator fan (WR60X10185), condenser fan (WR60X10209), thermistor (WR55X10025), inverter board (WR49X10283) |
| Refrigerator display blank, controls dead | Main control board or power supply to it | Test power and harness first, then the main control |
| Pro range burner won’t light or keeps clicking | Wet or cracked spark electrode, igniter cover, spark module | Spark electrode (WB13T10065), igniter cover, spark module |
| Gas pro range oven won’t heat | Weak oven igniter | Oven igniter (WB13K21) |
| Wall oven not heating or wrong temperature, F3 / F4 | Open or shorted oven temperature sensor | Test the sensor (about 1,080 Ω at room temperature), then sensor, harness or board |
| Wall oven keys don’t respond or press by themselves, F0 / F1 / F7 | Keypad or touch panel, ribbon cable, sometimes the control | Reseat or replace the ribbon cable, keypad or touch panel, or the control board |
| Door won’t unlock after self-clean, F9 / FC | Door lock motor or switch assembly, wiring | Lock motor and switch assembly, lock wiring |
| Advantium won’t start, no heat or dead touchpad | Blown fuse, failed door interlock switch, halogen lamps | Fuse (WB27X10928), interlock switches (WB24X10047, WB24X25397), halogen lamps |
Built-in side-by-side ice and dispenser failures
On ZISS-series built-in side-by-side refrigerators, the ice maker and dispenser account for a large share of service calls. When the ice maker stops, we check water supply first, then the inlet valve, then the ice maker assembly itself. If water reaches the mold but ice never ejects, the ice maker is the usual part. If the mold stays dry, the inlet valve or supply is the suspect. Frost or ice at the dispenser points to the dispenser door, actuator or solenoid, because cold air leaks past a door that no longer closes fully. We replace the part that failed instead of the whole assembly when the parts allow it.
Warm fresh-food section on built-in models
A Monogram built-in with a cold freezer and a warm fresh-food section is usually an airflow or control problem, not a refrigerant leak. The evaporator fan moves cold air, the condenser fan cools the compressor, and a thermistor tells the control what the temperature is. On models with a variable-speed compressor, the inverter board drives it. We test each in turn before anyone talks about the sealed system. When it truly is a sealed-system fault, our EPA 608 certified technicians handle it, and on many integrated and column units the 5-year sealed-system warranty may still apply.
Wall oven keypads and temperature sensors
Most Monogram wall oven calls are either a sensor code or a keypad code. For F3, the oven sensor should read about 1,080–1,100 Ω at room temperature and over 3,000 Ω when it has failed open. For F0 on Monogram wall ovens, the OFF/Clear key circuit is shorted: with OFF held, a reading of 125–1,750 Ω across the keypad pins points to the board, and a reading outside that range points to the touch panel. That test keeps us from replacing an expensive control when a keypad or ribbon cable is the real fault.
What we actually find on Monogram calls
The tables above list what usually fails. These are the repairs we have actually done on Monogram appliances, with photos from our own jobs.
1. Wall ovens and ranges
In August 2024 a Monogram wall oven was making noises and tripping the breaker; the control board had a burnt spot and was replaced. In November 2024 the small oven of a Monogram 48-inch gas range burned food on the bottom and would not hold temperature; it needed a new temperature sensor.

2. Burners clicking or not lighting
In August 2025 a Monogram rangetop kept clicking and relighting when the flame was turned high or low; cleaning the ignition parts solved it. In April 2026 a Monogram range’s burners still would not work after the owner had replaced them, and a thorough burner cleaning fixed it. A new part is not always the answer.

3. Built-in refrigerator not cooling
This is our most common Monogram call. In November 2024 a 2014 Monogram had a running compressor, running fans and clean coils but still would not cool: a sealed-system leak. In March 2025 we replaced a condenser fan motor on one built-in and an inverter board on another. In May 2026 a ten-year-old unit got a new quick-chill fan and a condenser cleaning, but we suspected a refrigerant leak as well. In June 2026 a freezer at 28 degrees had a compressor that was shutting off on overheating at about 168 degrees and restarting near 150.

Not every warm refrigerator needs parts. In July 2025 a Monogram started cooling again once it was restarted and its temperature settings were corrected, and in December 2025 one that stopped after a power outage had a leak that we fixed.
4. Ice makers and water
In March 2025 we repaired a Monogram ice maker, in July 2025 a refrigerator that would not dispense water, and in May 2026 a broken water line. In June 2026 an ice maker ran its harvest cycle but never filled; the water reservoir was leaking during dispensing and needed replacing.

5. Dishwashers
In November 2024 the top spray arm fell off a Monogram 24-inch fully integrated dishwasher, and in October 2025 we were called to a leaking Monogram dishwasher.

Monogram error codes and what they mean
Fault codes vary by model and control generation, and GE says so on its own code pages, so treat the tables below as common codes, not a guaranteed diagnosis. GE’s guidance is to switch the breaker off for 1–2 minutes, which may clear a code. If the code comes back, leave the oven off at the breaker until it is serviced. Write the code down, along with when it appears (preheat, self-clean, a key press), before you call. That tells us which part to bring.
Wall ovens and ranges
| Code | Meaning | What usually fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| F0 | Keypad fault; on Monogram wall ovens, the OFF/Clear key is shorted | Ribbon cable, keypad (touch panel) or control board, confirmed by a resistance test |
| F1 | Keypad or electronic control (ERC) fault | Usually the keypad, sometimes the control |
| F2 / F20 | Runaway temperature: oven went past a preset limit (roughly 615°F in bake, 915°F in clean on post-1999 GE controls) | High resistance in the sensor circuit, or welded bake, broil or clean relay contacts on the control |
| F3 | Oven temperature sensor open | Sensor, then harness, then board |
| F4 | Oven temperature sensor shorted | Sensor, then check the harness |
| F5 | Control fault (relay drive or safety circuit) | Electronic control |
| F6 / F7 | Keypad problem; F7 is a shorted function key | Keypad, membrane or touch panel |
| F8 | Control (ERC) internal fault | Electronic control |
| F9 | Door lock circuit fault | Door lock motor or switch assembly, or wiring |
| FC | Door lock circuit fault | Lock wiring and switches, then the lock assembly |
| FD | Meat probe or probe receptacle fault | Probe or probe jack |
| FF | Electronic control fault (door motor safety circuit on older controls) | Electronic control |
| FFF | Control or EEPROM failure | Electronic control |
| F350 | Upper cooling fan circuit fault or blocked fan | Cooling fan motor or wiring |
| F96 / F97 / F7x | Internal component failure | Usually a control or communication board |
| Bad Line | Power supply is wired incorrectly | A licensed electrician must correct the supply wiring |
| LOC / Loc Door / Unlock Door | Control lockout is on, or the door is stuck locked after self-clean | Reset the control; if it persists, the lock motor or switch |
Dishwashers (ZDT985, ZDT925)
Monogram ZDT dishwashers run on the GE dishwasher platform. These are GE-family codes from GE’s official list, and the ZDT985 manual confirms the leak message.
| Code | Meaning | What usually fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| C1 | Drain pump-out took over 2 minutes | Clogged air gap, kinked drain hose or clogged disposer, then the drain pump |
| C2 | Total pump-out took over 7 minutes | Drain restriction or a weak drain pump |
| C3 | Won’t drain | Reset the breaker; if it persists, drain pump or control |
| C4 | Filled twice after a power failure | Stuck or failed float switch, clogged sump |
| C5 | Pump-out time too short | Water supply off, stuck float |
| C6 | Incoming water too cold (needs at least 120°F) | Water heater setting or a long pipe run |
| C7 | Water temperature sensor circuit not working | Thermistor (sensor) or control |
| C8 | Detergent cup blocked from opening | Remove the item blocking it; if clear, the dispenser assembly |
| H2O | Low water condition | Supply valve off, kinked inlet hose, failed inlet valve |
| FTD / F56 | Failure to drain | Drain hose, air gap, disposer, drain pump |
| LEAK DETECTED / 999 | Leak detected; the cycle is cancelled (999 on Floor Protect with Alert models) | Find and fix the leak source, then reset |
| PrS | Pressure sensor sending an invalid signal | Harness or pressure sensor |
| PF | Power failure | Select a cycle and restart |
Refrigerators, columns and Advantium
Monogram does not publish a public fault-code list for its built-in or column refrigerators; the owner’s manuals describe symptoms, not codes. The units have an onboard data port that service technicians use for diagnostics. What you may see on the display is listed below.
| Code | Meaning | What usually fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| SAb | Sabbath Mode is on (refrigerator) | Not a fault; exit Sabbath Mode |
| out (flashes 1 second) | Sabbath Mode has just ended | Not a fault |
| Door alarm flashing and beeping | A door has been open more than 2 minutes | Close the door; if it alarms with the door shut, check the door switch and gasket |
| Filter light red | Water filter is due | Replace the filter (see maintenance below) |
| SENSOR ERROR (Advantium 240V) | The door was opened during a sensor cook | Close the door and press Start |
Code still on the display? Call 720-230-1229. We answer 24/7 and can usually be there the same or next day.
Before you call: safe checks
- Reset the breaker. Switch the oven, range or refrigerator breaker off for 1–2 minutes, then back on. If an oven code returns, leave it off until we arrive.
- Dry and seat the burner parts. On a pro range or rangetop that keeps clicking, make sure the burner caps sit flat and the igniter is dry after a spill or cleaning.
- Check the water supply. For an ice maker or dispenser that has stopped, confirm the supply valve is open and the line is not kinked behind the unit.
- Look at the filter light. A red filter light or small, hollow ice usually means the water filter is due.
- Clear the dishwasher drain path. For C1, C3 or FTD codes, check that the drain hose is not kinked and run the disposer, then clean the Ultra-Fine filter.
- Close the Advantium door fully. SENSOR ERROR just means the door was opened mid-cook. Close it and press Start.
Please do not adjust gas valves, remove panels on live equipment, or work on refrigerant lines. Those jobs need a qualified technician.
Denver and high-altitude notes for Monogram
Denver sits at about 5,280 ft, and that matters for gas cooking. Monogram pro range spec sheets list a factory high-altitude kit, WB28K10553, for natural gas and LP models, to be installed by a qualified service technician. Monogram’s own documents disagree on when it is needed: the ZDP366 dual-fuel spec sheet says operation above 3,000 ft, while the ZGP364 all-gas spec sheet says above 6,000 ft. So whether your Monogram range needs the kit in Denver depends on the model and its installation instructions. We check your model’s documents before recommending it.
Our technicians also check burner flame and supply pressure against the rating plate. On older Monogram pro ranges, the spec is 5″ water column for natural gas (7–13″ WC supply) and 10″ WC for LP (11–13″ WC supply). Lower boiling points at altitude (about 202°F at 5,000 ft, per NMSU Extension) can also change how long things take on the cooktop, which is normal and not a fault.
Find your Monogram model and serial number
Monogram model numbers always begin and end with a letter, and newer tags carry a QR code. The rating plate also lists the serial number and electrical data. A photo of the tag is the fastest way to get the right part ordered.
| Product | Where the tag is |
|---|---|
| 24″ built-in / fresh-food column (ZIFI type) | Label on the ceiling inside the fresh-food compartment |
| Built-in side-by-side 36 / 42 / 48″ (ZIS / ZISS) | Above the freezer compartment, behind the top grille panel |
| Wall ovens | Inside the door, on the front face of the oven frame |
| Advantium 240V (ZSC2200 / ZSC2201) | Label under the oven |
| Dishwashers (ZDT) | Inner edge of the tub opening, front left or front right, or the right side edge of the door |
| Pro ranges, rangetops, wine reserves, ice makers | Use Monogram’s model-number finder, or call us and we will help you locate it |
Monogram maintenance schedule
| Task | How often | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Clean built-in refrigerator condenser | Not routine in normal homes; at least annually in dusty or greasy settings, more often with shedding pets | Dust on the condenser makes the compressor run hot and long |
| Replace refrigerator water filter (built-in SxS) | About every 12 months or 500 gallons, or when the light turns red; check your manual | Keeps flow and ice size normal |
| Clean door gaskets | Periodically; wax or petroleum jelly on the hinge side | Prevents sticking and tearing, keeps the seal tight |
| Check the drain hole and channel | Periodically | Stops water pooling and odors |
| Replace the baking soda box | Every 3 months | Odor control (ZIFI240 manual) |
| Clean Advantium lamp cover and mica sheet | Whenever grease builds up; clean under the turntable often | Grease causes smoke and lowers cooking power |
| Clean dishwasher Ultra-Fine filter | Regularly; descale with citric acid or dishwasher cleaner as needed | Better wash results and drainage |
| Keep rinse aid filled | As the indicator shows | Drying and spotting |
| Clean UCC15 / UNC15 ice maker | When the Clean light comes on | Scale and buildup slow ice production; use a nickel-safe cleaner on the clear-ice unit |
Factory warranty vs. our repair warranty
Monogram’s warranty overview, for products made on or after January 1, 2006, gives most categories 2 years full parts and labor: ranges, cooktops, rangetops, wall ovens, warming drawers, hearth ovens, hoods, Advantium, microwaves, dishwashers, compactors, refrigerators, wine and beverage centers and in-refrigerator icemakers. Integrated and column refrigerators add 5 years of sealed-system parts and labor (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing). Built-in side-by-side manuals add sealed-system parts only, with you paying labor, through year 12. There are exceptions: the older Advantium 240V manual lists 1 year full plus magnetron parts through year 5, and the UNC15 nugget ice maker lists 1 year full plus 5 years sealed system. Your model’s owner’s manual is what governs.
We repair Monogram appliances in or out of warranty, and the choice of who does the work is yours. Some owners call us during the warranty period because they want a faster appointment or a technician who works on Monogram every day. If you prefer to file a claim with Monogram, keep your proof of purchase handy; if you want us to fix it, you get a written quote before any work starts. Every repair we do carries our 90-day warranty on parts and labor.
Still having trouble with your Monogram? Call 720-230-1229. We answer 24/7 and can usually be there the same or next day.
Repair or replace your Monogram?
A new built-in Monogram refrigerator, pro range or wall oven costs many thousands of dollars, and replacing a built-in often means cabinet or panel work too. Most of the failures on this page are parts-level repairs: igniters, sensors, keypads, fans, valves, door locks and ice makers. Those are almost always worth doing. The harder calls are a failed sealed system out of warranty, or a control board on an older model where parts are scarce. In those cases we give you the quote and an honest opinion, and we will tell you plainly when a repair is not worth the money.

F3 means the oven temperature sensor circuit is open. A good sensor reads about 1,080–1,100 Ω at room temperature, and over 3,000 Ω means it has failed open. The fix is usually the sensor, then the harness, then the control board. Code meanings can vary by model, so we confirm with a meter before replacing parts.
It depends on the model. Monogram lists high-altitude kit WB28K10553 for its pro ranges, but its spec sheets disagree on the threshold: one dual-fuel sheet says above 3,000 ft and an all-gas sheet says above 6,000 ft. Denver is about 5,280 ft, so we check your model's installation instructions before recommending it.
Yes. Monogram is the luxury line of GE Appliances, a Haier company. Many controls, codes and parts are shared with GE, which is why Monogram wall ovens and dishwashers use GE-family fault codes. We service both brands.
Most Monogram products made since 2006 carry 2 years full parts and labor, and integrated and column refrigerators add 5 years of sealed-system coverage. Some models, like older Advantium and the UNC15 ice maker, have 1-year full coverage, so check your manual. We repair Monogram appliances in or out of warranty, and every repair we do carries our own 90-day parts and labor warranty.
