Samsung ranges are a big part of our oven work. Our technicians, with more than 30 years of combined experience and over 10,000 appliance repairs behind the company, repair Samsung freestanding and slide-in ranges, Flex Duo ovens, induction ranges and wall ovens. The Samsung oven repairs we do most often are bake and burner igniters, control boards and relays, high-limit thermostats, convection fan motors, door locks and glass.

1. Gas oven not heating: igniters
In November 2024 a Samsung oven that would not ignite needed a new igniter. In March 2025 we replaced igniters on two more Samsungs, one whose bottom burner would not light and one that would not turn on, followed by igniters in April 2025, a bake igniter in May 2025, and bake igniters again in January and June 2026. In November 2025 one surface burner would not ignite until we replaced its igniter.

2. Control boards, relays and C-codes
In March 2025 a Samsung range showed a C-F code; Samsung lists C-F codes as communication or memory errors between boards, and this one needed a new control board. In March 2024 and January 2025 Samsung ranges needed new main boards, and in February 2025 we replaced main boards and hinges on two Samsung ovens in one home. In March 2026 a Samsung oven would not hold its set temperature because the bake relay on the control board kept sticking, so the board needed replacing. In February 2025 a Samsung control panel that would not turn on needed a new high-limit thermostat.
3. Door locks, door glass and glass cooktops
Samsung lists C-d1 as a door lock malfunction. In March 2026 a Samsung oven showed C-d1 and kept trying to lock the door; it needed a new door lock assembly. In January 2024 a Samsung oven door was stuck locked and we released the latch. In April 2026 a broken door glass needed a new door sub-assembly, and in June 2026 a Samsung electric range with a shattered glass top needed a new cooktop surface assembly.

4. Convection fans and burners
A loud or rumbling oven is usually the convection fan motor. We replaced Samsung convection fan motors in November 2024, March 2025 and December 2025. In September 2026 a Samsung electric stove burner stuck on high heat and needed a new infinite switch.

Before you call: three quick checks
- Reset the power. Samsung recommends cutting power for at least 30 seconds if a code persists.
- Check the divider on Flex Duo ovens matches the mode you chose.
- Check the gas supply valve behind a gas range is fully open.
Repair or replace?
Igniters, fan motors, switches, door locks and glass assemblies are well worth repairing on most Samsung ranges. Control boards cost more, so on an older range with a failed board and other wear we give you an honest repair-versus-replace number. Either way, you get a written quote before any work starts, and the $99 service call is waived if you go ahead with the repair.

Frequently Asked Questions
On the Samsung gas ranges we repair, a worn bake igniter is the most common cause. A control board with a sticking bake relay is less common but does happen.
Samsung lists C-d1 as a door lock malfunction. Restart the oven; if it persists, cut power for at least 30 seconds. If the door lock keeps trying to close, the lock assembly usually needs replacing.
Samsung lists them as communication or memory errors between the control boards and the touch panel. Restart and cut power for 30 seconds; if they return, the board needs diagnosis.
A worn convection fan motor is the usual cause. We replaced Samsung convection fan motors in November 2024, March 2025 and December 2025.
The service call is $99 and is waived if you go ahead with the repair. You get a written quote for parts and labor before we start.
